Matthew Perry’s assistant didn’t rush to call for help after finding the actor unconscious in a hot tub. He cleaned himself up thoroughly first.

Police have shared chilling new details about the star’s death, revealing that Perry took prescription drugs three times on the fateful day without a doctor’s prescription.

Kenny Iwamasa helped the star with this. He went to work immediately after completing Matthew’s work. The Daily Mail reports that when Kenny returned, he found Perry unconscious. Instead of immediately calling for help, he removed all evidence.

Iwamasa then made a call but again did not call emergency services. According to court documents, the man was speaking to an accomplice. He said on the phone that he had removed all the syringes and vials. Only then did Iwamasa contact paramedics, according to court documents. Experts arrived a few minutes later and declared the actor dead.

Recall that Friends star Matthew Perry died in October last year. The cause was the abuse of a prescription painkiller. Recently, the investigation has led to formal charges. In the case, some of the defendants face up to 25 years in prison.
