Activist from Belarus Alexey Kuzmich decided to take a provocative action. He dug up Vincent Van Gogh’s grave for a performance and posted a video about it on his YouTube channel.

The legendary Dutch artist was buried in the municipal cemetery in Auvers-sur-Oise, France. Kuzmich arrived dressed in all white, with a whitened face and a shovel. Several tourists were waiting for him at the cemetery.
The artist addressed them: “Good day, friends! You have come here with sadness. I understand you. I too cannot bear to live in a world without artists. But from now on everything will be different.”

Alexey congratulated those present, saying that on this day “the artist will return to the world.” “Artist! It’s time to get up, artist! Wake up! – the ugly activist turned to Van Gogh and invited tourists to join the excavations.
However, Kuzmich was unable to fully dig the coffin, and was prevented from doing so by a cemetery attendant who knocked the Belarusian activist to the ground.
