Hello to all fashionistas! Your fashion editor is here. There are so many trends and brands in my world that I decided to start an online diary where I will make notes about the most important things in the industry. And although such diaries are usually called personal, mine is open to all readers – so you can be aware of the most interesting things.

The penultimate week of July was particularly rich in fashion news. First, Channing Tatum very unexpectedly became the face of a Versace campaign, second, Irina Shayk appeared on the cover of Korean Vogue in the image of Miu Miu, and third, the Coperni brand announced that it will hold a show at Disneyland Paris (sounds like a dream). And of course, how can we not not mention the first Moschino campaign led by Adrian Appiolas and the Saint Laurent shoot with Anthony Vaccarello’s main muse Anja Rubik!

There were really interesting events this week, so I suggest you take a short digital journey with me into the latest news from the fashion world and learn a little more about our domestic brands, advertising campaigns and collections. Shall we start?

The first half of summer is behind us, so we recommend that you start preparing for autumn. And not only mentally, but also physically (read: go shopping). Recently, the Russian brand All We Need presented its first autumn capsule, which includes everything you need for travel, active everyday life in the city and outdoor recreation. The collection includes luxurious corduroy suits, Western-style jackets, contemporary leopard-print suits, bomber jackets made of peacoat fabric, quilted jackets and lightweight denim models. The look will also be complemented by color-blocked cotton shirts, textured denim-stitched skirts, knee socks and elegant chiffon dresses for a romantic mood.

This Tuesday, the 0.75 Please Moscow restaurant hosted a special brunch for the Rushev brand, dedicated to the presentation of the new Genesis collection. This means that several new items appeared on every guest’s wish list (and we are no exception). The new collection is a symbiosis of the brand’s DNA and marine motifs; the design is complemented by chains and rings, mother-of-pearl trinkets, pendants in the form of soaring water drops and metal spheres. The brand’s founder, Gosha Rushev, presented his interpretation of the origin of life and the permanent process of human self-improvement, which inspires new ideas and creativity.

Meanwhile, in honor of the event, the brand team, together with 0.75 Please Moscow, has launched limited edition picnic boxes, which are now available for purchase at the restaurant.

The Russian fashion industry does not stand still, and new places of power appear on the capital’s map almost every week. So recently, a new space for the Mellow brand was opened on Bolshevik soil. The interior features a mix of European, Russian and Asian cultures – everything the team usually draws inspiration from when creating collections and visuals. The founding sisters Masha and Anya wanted the interior to feel homely rather than commercial: as if the space was not new, but had already been lived in by the owner, a Mellow girl.

By the way, vintage interior items helped to convey the idea of the showroom “room”. For example, a tapestry from the 60s from China was found on one of the resale platforms. The boutique turned out to be really stylish, so we recommend you to stop by for a little shopping.

Do you think that plus size clothes cannot be stylish? Then you are definitely not familiar with the brand Jurba, which focuses on loose fit, providing space and preserving the nobility that is especially important in the fast pace of modern life. The brand recently presented a new collection consisting of oversize jackets, high-shoulder dresses, double-breasted fitted jackets, suits, pajama shirts and palazzo trousers. The flowing, delicate fabrics of the new collection create a sense of lightness, while the asymmetrical lines sharpen the silhouette and make the image concise. Here, the idea of timeless classics is shaded with original accents and casual everyday elements.
