Matt Damon and his wife were evacuated from a restaurant due to a suspected bomb. The incident occurred while the star was on vacation.
The couple were having dinner at a bar in Greece when police received a message saying four bars in the popular resort were at risk.
A total of 4,000 people were evacuated, the Daily Mail reported. Eyewitness footage showed Matt, 53, looking relaxed and walking outside as he followed staff’s instructions.
One of the bar owners told Greek publication Protothema: “After receiving a tip from the police, we immediately turned off the music and calmly escorted our guests to safety. It was a difficult situation but we managed to maintain order.”
Police later confirmed the threats were a hoax. Matt is on holiday in Greece with Luciana and their four daughters Alexia, 25, Isabella, 18, Gia, 15 and Stella, 13.
