The “Two Hills” series, which was broadcast on the Start platform in April this year, is scheduled to be released on June 9th. Vedomosti noticed that the project was among the publication announcements on the Kinopoisk website and confirmed this information with a Start representative.

The source of the newspaper says that the audience can watch the first episodes of “Two Hills” in cinemas. The distributor is Central Partnership, the largest distributor of Russian films.
“By releasing Two Hills in theaters, we’re experimenting with new distribution formats for our original projects. But most importantly, I believe that in the current situation, the best domestic online cinemas should support offline cinemas by diversifying and filling their repertoire.”
Recall that in March, Hollywood studios Universal, Disney, Warner Bros., Sony, Paramount suspended the exhibition in Russia of their new products. Against this background, Russian cinemas faced a shortage of content and lost a significant share of the box office.
