Bridgertons became the most-watched English-language series on Netflix, with more than 656 million hours watched worldwide in its first 28 days until the fourth season of Stranger Things aired. The series is almost 44% closer to that figure in just three days.

And on July 1, two final episodes will air, lasting a total of four hours. The service’s most popular non-English project is The Squid Game (1.65 billion hours watched in the first 28 days). Let’s see if the project will be able to break this Netflix record as well.

Recall that the plot of the series tells about a quiet state American town where a teenager named Will mysteriously disappeared. The boy’s family and the local sheriff are trying to investigate the case. Events also affect Will’s best friend, Mike, who starts his own investigation, but will have to encounter otherworldly forces during the investigation process.
