Holidays: Excited to pack your kids’ bags? This TikToker has the solution

On TikTok, this mother of four shares her latest tip to never have to struggle to pack her kids’ bags again.

Parents of young children know it well: preparations for summer holidays, and especially the clothes and equipment to bring with them, can quickly turn into a tragedy.

And among the baby equipment that ABOVE ALL should not be forgotten otherwise you won’t have anything for your child to sleep/eat/sit/play on the beach, the first aid kit and the clothes to prepare for all possible weather conditions ( beautiful but beautiful, cool and rainy, nice and hot, scorching…), the trunk of the car often fills up quickly.

Plastic drawers instead of suitcases

To avoid going on holiday loaded like mules, Jordan Taylor Martin has found a solution, spotted by the magazine Parents. On TikTok, this mother of four shares her somewhat radical but effective idea: don’t use a suitcase to store her children’s clothes… but the drawers of a plastic piece of furniture, which she then puts away directly into the trunk.

“They won’t have a suitcase, they will have these drawers”Jordan Taylor Martin comments on the video, before explaining: “Once they arrive, we will remove everything from the car and their belongings will be stored in the drawers for the entire week of the holiday. »

The mother of a large family doesn't stop there as we see her, in the rest of the video, using plastic baskets instead of a suitcase or bag to store the whole family's toiletries, but also snacks for the trip. You then simply place all the containers in the trunk.

Last piece of advice given by Jordan Taylor Martin: drive at night so that everyone is asleep and thus avoid arguments between siblings, and travel in pajamas for more comfort and to save time once you arrive at your destination.
