Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, 43, is no longer sad on Father’s Day. His own children helped him recover from past experiences.

The actor said on social networks that the film studio sent him a box of Star Wars products in honor of the holiday. Macaulay admitted that he had a difficult relationship with Father’s Day in the past, but that has now changed. Culkin has two sons: Dakota and Carson.

“I decided to reinvent the wheel and make this day a holiday not for myself, but for my children. “They were the ones who finally made me a father,” the actor shared.

Macaulay’s family, who quickly rose to fame in his childhood, began to control his career and money. In 1995, the boy’s parents divorced. Macaulay said in 2018 that his father was a cruel man even before Culkin’s victory, after which he became completely jealous of his fame. “Everything he tried to do in his life, I accomplished before I was 10,” Just Jared quotes the actor as saying. Macaulay was separated from his family when he was 16 years old. He has since reestablished his relationship only with his mother.
