Series fall, a highly anticipated adaptation by fans of the video games of the same name, made a sensational debut on the Prime Video streaming platform in April. In just 16 days it attracted no less than 65 million viewers and established itself as the second most popular series in the history of this serviceimmediately afterwards The Rings of Power.
Fallout, what is it?
The story is set in a world devastated by a nuclear disaster, where survivors hole up in underground bunkers to escape the ravages of the apocalypse. 200 years after these events, a young woman embarks on a perilous journey to find her father, braving the dangers of a devastated world. Viewers praised the breathtaking twists and the richness of the characters that populate this fiction.
A showrunner we love
At the head of this ambitious adaptation we find the Bethesda studio, the creative duo Jonathan Nolan (brother of Christophen Nolan) and the prodigy showrunner Lisa Joyalready known for their work on the hit series Westworld. Their artistic vision and commitment to staying true to the world of video games helped make it happen fall a work in itself, praised by franchise fans and newcomers alike.
A global success
The triumph of fall it is not limited to American borders, as the series also reaches the top of the charts in more than 170 countries around the world. With over 60% of its audience coming from abroad, particularly Brazil, the UK and France.
The second season has been officially confirmed
Building on this success, Prime Video is already announcing the order of a second season of fall, thus confirming the trust placed in this series. For the moment we do not know when filming will begin, nor when the release date is expected.
