The (easy) coconut flan recipe

What if you made this delicious coconut flan as a dessert or snack? Don’t panic, it’s very simple to do.

Life without coconuts is a bit like Kinder without the surprises. So hold on tight, because this week we found the recipe for coconut flan, easy and simple to prepare.

The quick and easy coconut flan recipe

To make this recipe you will need:

  • 400 g of sweetened condensed milk
  • 400 ml of skimmed milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 125g grated coconut
  • liquid caramel

Start by separating the yolks from the whites. In a salad bowl, mix the egg yolks, condensed milk, skimmed milk and coconut. Beat the egg whites and gently incorporate them into the mixture.

Finally, spread a little caramel on the bottom of a baking mold. Pour the mixture over and bake everything in a bain-marie at 220°C for 45 minutes. How to cook in a bain-marie in the oven? Just put the water in a large dish with high edges, such as the dripping pan usually supplied with the oven, and place the baking dish containing the mixture on top.

Once cooked, let the flan rest in the fridge for at least two hours.
