Passionate about rap, RnB, Afro (and Aya Nakamura): Les Flammes is your meeting point in April

On April 25, during the Flames, Francophone rap, popular and Afro culture will be celebrated. 24 trophies will be awarded to renowned or emerging talents. With 6 nominations, Aya Nakamura is the favorite of the competition.

Aya Nakamura, Hamza, SCH, Shay…If these famous artists Afro, North African, Marseille inspirations they never leave the top of the charts on streaming platforms, it is much rarer to see them guests, represented And even less awarded during the most important ceremonies such as the Victoires de la Musique.

It was time for the situation to change. YARD and Booska-P hit the ground running in 2023 creating Flamesa ceremony aimed at celebrate and reward the actors of popular culture. On Thursday 25 April, this long-awaited ceremony returns to the Théâtre du Châtelet, in Parisfor a second edition.

Where and when to see Les Flammes live?

Who votes for the winners?

Who will decide between the candidates? At the house of Flames, the general public is invited to vote. Her votes represent 50% of the votes. The rest is shared by joint jury bringing together 23 experts, 11 women and 12 men. In just two editions, Les Flammes has seen a surge in popularity: more than two million Internet users who voted for their favorite artists.
