Oksana Domnina recently recalled how she had to talk to her children about her husband’s operations. Now in the program “Meanwhile” Roman Kostomarov told how he and his eight-year-old son Ilya make fun of their own prostheses.

Roman recalled that before he was discharged from the hospital, his wife got the kids ready and told his youngest son that his father was bringing back “Robot 3000.”

The skater said that he and his son talked about the prosthesis calmly. “My wife is rummaging around in the kitchen, and I say, ‘Son, let’s go, untie my boots.’ He unfastens it, presses the button, takes it off, puts it aside and says: “Dad, I think your leather legs were lighter,” the Olympic champion said, laughing.
We have written a lot of material about the main ups and downs of Russian figure skater Roman Kostomarov. Read here.
