“After the recent tragedy in my hometown of Texas, we have decided to postpone the movie ‘The Bad Seed Is Back’. “All life and everyone involved agrees,” Grace wrote. “I don’t feel comfortable promoting the movie this week and we don’t think Monday is a good time to release it.
He continued: “I was in first grade when Sandy Hook happened… and I feel like nothing has changed since then. I remember my parents teaching me contingency plans to go to church or to the movies. You can read the full statement in the tweet below.
Lifetime has confirmed that the movie will premiere on TBD later this year. The network also announced its decision to the TV Academy, as the film won’t be screened at the 2022 Emmy Awards, which ends on May 31.
Grace co-wrote the script for the movie with her father, Ross Burger.
He starred in Rob Lowe and Grace Lifetime Bad seeds! Written and directed by Barbara Marshall, Lowe’s remake of the 1956 cult psychological horror film based on the best-selling novel by William Mars and its stage adaptation based on Maxwell Anderson.
