The ultra gourmet matcha-vanilla marble recipe

Matcha is one of those disruptive ingredients that you either love or hate. If you fall into the latter category, there’s a chance this matcha vanilla cake will make your reluctance go away.

Matcha is an excellent antioxidant that helps fight the appearance of the first signs of aging. But this is not his only virtue! Anti-inflammatory and relaxing, it also strengthens the immune system. It is therefore not for nothing that we say that the latter is part of the dei family superfoods. Don’t know how to use this ingredient with many benefits? Here is a cake recipe that will probably delight your taste buds.

To make this recipe you will need:

  • 1 natural yogurt
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 sachets of vanilla sugar
  • 300 g of flour
  • 125g coconut sugar
  • 1 sachet of yeast
  • 3 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 1 jar of vegetable oil yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon natural vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

The recipe step by step

Step no. 1: Pour all your natural yogurt into a salad bowl.

Step no. 2: Add the 3 sachets of vanilla sugar and the coconut sugar. Mix everything.

Step no. 3: Break the 3 eggs and add them to the mixture.

Step no. 4: Pour the flour into the dough and add the entire sachet of yeast. Mix well again so that there are no lumps. Add a pinch of salt.


Step no. 5: Divide your dough equally in two, pouring half into another bowl.

Step no. 6: In one of the two salad bowls add the 3 teaspoons of matcha. If you think your dough isn’t sweet enough you can add a teaspoon of agave syrup. Mix well. In the simple dough, add a spoonful of vanilla extract.

Step #7: Fill a yogurt cup with vegetable oil and pour half into each bowl. Mix again.

Step #7: Place a sheet of baking paper in a mold so that the dough does not stick.

Step no. 8: Pour in the batter, alternating the matcha and vanilla batter, which will create a marbled consistency.

Step #9: Cook your cake at 180°C for 30-40 minutes. Remove it from the oven when the tip of a knife comes out clean.
