David Tennant presents the BAFTA Film Awards 2024

Former Doctor who Actor David Tennant will host the BAFTA Film Awards 2024 which will take place on February 18 at the Royal Festival Hall at the Southbank Center in London.

Tennant takes over from Salt burns Actor Richard E. Grant hosted the first edition at the Royal Festival Hall last year.

Tennant is best known for his award-winning role as Doctor Who. His other notable credits include: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, good omens And Broadchurch. His stage appearances include: Much Ado About Nothing, Richard II, Hamlet and last Macbeth.

The longlists for all 24 BAFTA categories – including best film, director, cinematography, cast, documentary and film not in English – will be announced later on Friday. The final nominations will be announced via live stream on January 18 by former EE Rising Star Award nominees Naomi Ackie and Kingsley Ben-Adir. Nominations for EE Rising Star will be announced on January 10.
