Cardigans have unexpectedly become one of the star pieces of the season. You like them? While you may think it’s a piece of clothing reserved for fall or winter, to wear over shirts or thin turtlenecks, the truth is that they can be very versatile and practical in spring as well as summer. How? Choose them in crisp fabrics (like linen or cotton) and wear them as a top, buttoned up (with nothing underneath). This season we looked at the buttoned up, short and masculine, which we find in neutral colors such as beige, white or black (the easiest to combine actually), and which are ideal for wearing as a suit, combined with a pleated frock pants in the same tone (think of the aesthetic so signature Diane Keaton wore in the famous movie Annie Hall and you’re right).
Do you prefer a lighter look Lady, choose your men’s shirt with a trendy print, be it gingham checks, polka dots or freedom flowers, and wear it as a total look with a matching skirt or pants. Also with shorts and Bermuda shorts, for more relaxed looks. In the latter category, we also have knitted or crochet cardigans (a fabric that is flooding all kinds of garments this year) and that we have seen at many of our favorite companies, which are much more casual and youthful and that you can continue to wear during the winter, with something underneath.
If you need more ideas for how to wear them, on Instagram, the best trend showcase, we’ve once again found a good source of inspiration in the profiles of some of the girls with the most taste when it comes to dressing.
