James May has left the car door open for a reunion with Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond after they ditched their Prime Video series The grand tour one last time.
During BBC Radio 4 Today show where he was guest editor this morning, he responded to a question about the future of the series by saying: “Well, we’ve filmed the last part for now. I think that technically puts me out of a job; I hear the cheers through the country rolls.
“However, we have two in the bag, so one will be out soon. I’m not sure what to say here. As [there is] a while later another one comes out.
Clarkson told The Times newspaper in November that the trio were “done” after 34 years in car review shows. However, Prime Video has yet to be officially cancelled The grand tourone of the highest rated original series.
