As part of today’s Festivus celebration, Paul released his ninth annual online tribute to government waste. His “Festivus Report” expresses his displeasure at an alleged waste of “up to $9 billion” in federal spending.

- $6 million to promote tourism in Egypt;
- The Department of Defense spends $8,395 on a lobster tank;
- $477,000 for HIV research on transgender monkeys.
