Andrew Tate has lost his bid to return to Britain after his mother suffered a heart attack, the controversial former professional kickboxer said today.
“Rejected. The Romanian state has decided she should spend Christmas alone if she’s still alive,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
A spokesperson for Andrew and Tristan Tate told MailOnline: “We regret to inform you that the Romanian Court of Appeal has refused Andrew and Tristan Tate’s application to travel to the UK over the holidays, including a refused to visit their mother, who had recently suffered.” a heart attack.
“Andrew and Tristan adhere impeccably to all restrictions and have never broken any rules. This confirms their commitment to compliance and proves that they do not pose a flight risk.”
“Nevertheless, we were discouraged by the court’s decision.”
Tate revealed that his mother, a former school kitchen assistant, suffered a heart attack and was hospitalized on December 21. “I will be going to court tomorrow and requesting an emergency visit to London,” he wrote in a post.
Paramedics were called to Eileen Tate’s home in Luton yesterday, just hours before an important court hearing for Tate and his brother Tristan.
The Tate brothers are banned from leaving Bucharest because they are suspected of human trafficking.

A spokesman for the brothers confirmed yesterday: “It is with a heavy heart that we share the urgent news that Andrew and Tristan’s mother suffered a sudden heart attack this afternoon and was immediately taken to hospital.”
“The situation is ongoing and at this stage we expect her to undergo emergency surgery.”
“Your discharge from the hospital depends on the success of this crucial procedure.”
Andrew and Tristan were ordered by a judge in Bucharest to stay in the country last week, but appealed, which was heard on Friday.
During the two-hour hearing, the judge heard details of Eileen’s ill health and the brothers urged the court to allow them to travel to the UK for five days to be with her.
But the court rejected her request saying it was “unfounded”. They were told to stay in the country and pay 300 Romanian lei (£52) each and legal costs.
Andrew, 36, and his younger brother Tristan, 34, grew up in Luton and are accused of running a human trafficking ring with two others, as well as rape and organized crime.
They allegedly lured women to their £600,000 villa on the outskirts of Bucharest and several were then allegedly forced to appear in sexually explicit videos sold online.
The brothers grew up on the infamous Marsh estate in Luton, where Eileen still lives in a 1970s terraced house after being married by her father, Emory Tate Jr., in 1997. divorced.
In August, the brothers – who deny the allegations – were released from house arrest after their first arrest almost a year ago, but were banned from leaving Romania.
Earlier this month, a court rejected Andrew’s request to have his assets worth £10m, including 15 luxury cars, watches and property, returned after they were seized by police.

A family friend said Eileen was “proud of Andrew and Tristan” but was unlikely to agree with their controversial views expressed online.
“Eileen loves her sons. She probably doesn’t like what’s going on. What they are accused of is very serious. I don’t think she likes what Andrew is saying, the misogyny.
“She says he says these things because of the response he gets, because of the number of hits on the internet.
“He always talks about fast cars and what a man should be, but Eileen didn’t raise him that way.” If you tell her about it, she will say, “These are my sons.”
