Hello to all fashion lovers! Your fashion editor is here. There are so many trends and brands in my world that I decided to keep an online journal where I would note the most important things in the industry. And although such diaries are often called personal, mine is open to all readers – so you will be aware of the most interesting things.
The penultimate week of autumn 2023 turned out to be surprisingly quiet. There were not many high-profile premieres and social events, and scandals were completely avoided. However, there were still newsworthy topics to discuss. For example, Jacquemus’ first children’s collection, Marina Abramovich in Balenciaga’s overall look, Miu Miu’s New Year’s advertising campaign and the launch of Louis Vuitton tableware attracted everyone’s attention. Everyone was also discussing the new biopic about Alexander McQueen from director Oliver Hermanus and the romantic Lana Del Rey in the white dress on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar.
There were really many interesting events this week, so I suggest you take a short digital journey with me into the latest news from the world of fashion and learn a little more about our domestic brands, advertising campaigns and collections. Shall we begin?

Winter is the perfect time for casual, layered looks. In this season, you can mix colors and textures, develop new styling techniques and add various accessories. To renew your wardrobe with the latest products, you should go to Familia, where you can find trendy products with discounts of up to 85%. For example, the brand’s product range includes a wide range of down jackets, plush fur coats, winter coats, sheepskin coats and sweaters. Brand ambassador stylist Sophie Eliseeva has compiled current images into a new shoot to make it easier for you to style the trendy items.

We all want a little magic and good luck in December. And designers are no exception. Finally, Russian brand 1811 presented a New Year’s collection dedicated to Tchaikovsky’s ballet “The Nutcracker”. Eighteen One One’s designers transformed the symbols of the great Russian ballet into pieces made of fluffy knitwear, silk and sparkling tweed. The festival drop was based on footage from Yuri Grigorovich’s production, and the leading soloist of the Bolshoi Theater, Maria Vinogradova, became the heroine of the campaign.

Russian brand Sorelle is known and appreciated not only in Russia but also abroad. Even Kourtney Kardashian has reviewed the brand’s looks a few times (and that’s really saying a lot). Recently, the design team presented a new collection whose main message is the desire to add a little magic to every day. So, for the winter fall, white knitted dresses, lace-up trousers, trouser suits and draped sweaters appeared in the style of the Snow Queen. The collection also includes vintage-style straight-leg, mid-waist jeans and a new grunge model with ripped details for wet weather.
Both technical and aesthetic components are important for the brand. So a Parisian artist, who wished to remain anonymous, recreated the clothing-related pages of the witch books; He stylized the snakes, thorns and arrows to look modern and sophisticated.

There is less and less time left for New Year’s corporate parties and a series of festive events. That’s why our fashion department recommends that you start looking for a stylish look now. Today we would like to talk about the new collection of the Russian brand Emka, in whose campaign Nino Ninidze starred. The collection includes trendy sequins, sparkling fabrics, accent accessories and elegant silhouette lines. The Emka collection combines the best holiday traditions and their trend interpretations. Our favorites are the sky blue satin dress, sequin shorts and balloon skirt.

Almost every week new notable places appear on Moscow’s fashion map. So, recently the Russian brand opened a boutique with a real portal to the multiverse and anti-stress dressing rooms for quick money. The main hall, dominated by metallic silver, references the interiors of spaceships in science fiction movies, and bright pink accents add a touch of rebellion and relaxation to the style. The brand worked separately with tactile perception in the boutique – this is how pink sofas and armchairs made of faux long-haired fur appeared, which completely cover the room from floor to ceiling. This is part of the concept of anti-stress changing rooms and makes money fast. This design solves two important problems for a modern city dweller: it relieves stress and gives a feeling of maximum comfort when trying on things and taking selfies in the mirror.
