A new episode of the talk show My Next Guest Needs No Introduction featuring Billie Eilish aired the other day. On the show, the singer said that she was first diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome at the age of 11.

According to the star, she did not have many nervous tics as a child, but in adolescence the situation changed. Later, Billy got used to the disease.
The singer also said that she sometimes faces misunderstandings from others. “The most common reaction of people is to laugh thinking I’m trying to be funny. And I’ve always been incredibly offended by that,” Eilish admitted.

Note that Tourette’s syndrome is a disorder accompanied by involuntary rapid, irregular motor or vocal tics.
