In a press release for this collaboration, the young designer whose brand is called NORMANMABIRELARGUIER explains:

“I approached my collaboration with La Redoute as a new collection in its own right. Since my personal work is very Couture, for me it wasn’t about simplifying existing pieces from my previous collections, but about thinking of new pieces starting from the essence of my work to bring it towards a more accessible perspective. »

“This capsule collection is a great opportunity to address my work to a wider audience. I worked in close collaboration with La Redoute, investing holistically in all aspects of the capsule: design of the pieces, installations, presentation of the collection and its communication. For me it was about bringing to life and fully affirming a precise and demanding vision, while being realistic about the different constraints relating to accessible ready-to-wear and the clientele the collection is aimed at. . »
