According to Jonathan Karl’s New Book, Donald Trump Hung Kim Kardashian at the Testy Exchange for 2020 Election Support

After the 2020 election, Donald Trump had a heated conversation with Kim Kardashian, the famous criminal defense lawyer who has been in talks with his White House several times.

According to an excerpt from Jonathan Karl’s new book Tired of winningIn the weeks leading up to the end of Trump’s presidency, Kardashian lobbied the White House for further sentence reductions. But according to an excerpt from the book published in Axios today, Trump demanded “a clear quid pro quo” and encouraged them to persuade football stars to visit the White House. But she couldn’t do it because Trump “became too toxic”.

After Trump left office, Kardashian contacted the former president’s office and asked for his assistance in her efforts to obtain clemency for those incarcerated. Trump called her directly, Karl wrote, and claimed she voted for Joe Biden. “You voted for Biden and now you’re asking me for a favor?” Trump told her, according to the book. Then he hung them up. That day, networks called the presidential race Kardashian posted on social media about the victory of Biden and Kamala Harris, along with three blue hearts.

A spokesperson for the Trump campaign responded to the report and the book itself: “Outrageous and talentless John Carl [sic] is a backbencher who could never get his own show for obvious reasons. Previously published excerpts from this “book” have already been thoroughly debunked. This junk belongs in the discount bin in the fiction section of the bookstore or should be reused as toilet paper.”

Kardashian lobbied the Trump White House to grant clemency to a number of felons. In 2018, Trump pardoned Alice Johnson, a grandmother serving prison time for a non-violent drug offense.

Karl, ABC News’ chief Washington correspondent, has written two other books about the Trump presidency: Front row at the Trump Show And Illusion.
