EXCLUSIVE: Signature Entertainment has pre-acquired the UK and Irish rights to Damien Leone’s horror sequel Scarecrow 3 by The Coven after the first two films in the series were released.

David Howard Thornton and Lauren LaVera will reprise their roles as Art the Clown and Sienna, respectively, in the holiday horror film, which will hit North American theaters on October 25, 2024.

A statement from Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting this week revealed that the evil Art the Clown will “wreak havoc on the unsuspecting citizens of Miles County while they sleep soundly on Christmas Eve”. Filming is expected to begin in January 2024.

The trilogy is produced by Phil Falcone (Even more terrifying franchise) and was directed and written by Damien Leone (Even more terrifying franchise). The UK deal was negotiated between Elizabeth Williams, director of acquisitions and TV at Signature, and Priscilla Ross Smith, CEO and founder of The Coven.

Williams said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Damien and The Coven for the third installment of his runaway hit series.” Scarecrow 3 We feel Damien is at the peak of his cinematic skills and we look forward to bringing another breathtaking experience to the UK in 2024.”
