2024 presidential election debate schedule: dates, times, who will attend and who won’t

As far as the media is concerned, the 2024 presidential election crosses the official starting line of debate season, and this cycle contenders on the Republican side, including a multi-indicted former POTUS, are looking to defeat Democrat Joe Biden and take power in the White House. . But first they have to compete against each other.

For candidates, debates are a way to score points against a rival, stand out, or define a previously aimless campaign.

Front-runner Trump pulled out of the first debate in August and instead met with Tucker Carlson in a friendlier, taped interview. The debate drew 12.8 million viewers on Fox News. He also did not participate in the Sept. 27 debate in Simi Valley, Calif., which drew 9.5 million viewers on Fox Business and Univision and was simulcast on Fox News.

The third debate will take place on November 8 in Miami and will air on NBC and Rumble.
