Deeply shocked, it took her ten days to find the courage to file a complaint. Alcohol is good
More than once the filmmaker would have used the excuse of alcohol. This is demonstrated by the stories of the other two women who also spoke on Tuesday 17 October Mediapart.
Alice thus recounts an evening in 2018 in which the director tried to follow her to the bathroom, then spat the glass of water that she had passed him in her face, after she had rejected his offer to kiss her. The next day, Nicolas Bedos allegedly sent an apology message through a mutual friend, in which he attributed his behavior to alcohol. A third witness, Madeleine, says she was molested by the director she met during a festival in Corsica.
His lawyer informed Mediapart that the director did not wish to respond to its requests for comment. Amazon Prime Video also just unveiled the new series by Nicolas Bedos on Thursday 12 October, refusing to censor the director in the name of “presumption of innocence”.
