Yesterday in the cinema “Khudozhestvenny” there was a secular premiere of the new series “Kinopoisk” “Patient Zero”. The guests of the show are Ida Galich, Yana Churikova, Olga Sutulova, Stasya Miloslavskaya, Pavel Tabakov, soloist of “Monsters” Roman Bilyk, Masha Fedorova and others. The series was presented to the public by directors Sergei Trofimov and Evgeny Stychkin, actors Askar Ilyasov, Ivan Dobronravov, Alexei Maklakov and other members of the film crew. “Patient Zero” is based on real events and is dedicated to the first major HIV epidemic in the USSR, which occurred in a children’s hospital in Kalmykia in 1988. In the story, a young doctor (played by Askar Ilyasov) suspects HIV in several patients. His senior colleagues do not believe him, and then he secretly sends samples to Moscow. Scientist Dmitry Goncharov (played by Nikita Efremov) comes to Kalmykia from the capital, is a specialist in a disease still little known in the USSR. The fate of people and the epidemiological situation across the country now depend on their actions.
