The lawsuit between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp remains one of the hottest topics in Hollywood. After the next meeting, new details came to the press. Thus, Amber Heard admitted that she had lied before in court and did not transfer the money she received from Johnny Depp to charity as compensation. A $7 million settlement was reached during the couple’s divorce in 2016, and Amber’s funds were fully paid off by 2018. She promised later that she would donate the money to a charity.

But now the actor said that Depp is to blame for not being able to transfer money to charity. All because the actor sued her – now Depp is demanding $50 million from Amber.

Split between two organizations, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, it has previously committed $7 million to charities. Hurd has stated that he donated the entire amount to charity on several occasions, including being sworn in in the 2020 Depp defamation lawsuit in the UK.

However, Depp later learned that Hurd had embezzled the money: as proof, he submitted to the court a copy of a letter written by a medical institution, where the hospital administration is interested in whether the actress plans to transfer the funds. The ACLU chief also stated in court that the organization did not see the promised 3.5 million. On behalf of Heard, he stated that a total of $1.3 million was donated, $350,000 directly from Heard, $100,000 from Depp and $500,000 from Elon Musk. Heard met the billionaire after breaking up with Depp.

The actress also denied accusations of defecating on the marital bed, commenting on another sensational episode from her life with Depp. The actor claimed that Amber took revenge on him badly after a fight. At the trial, this version was also confirmed by Depp’s bodyguard, who under oath stated that Heard had admitted it to him. The actor had previously denied being involved in this story and said that now the Yorkshire Terrier, which suffers from intestinal problems, is responsible for everything.

Although Depp and Heard met several times in court as part of the new trial, the network noted that Johnny hadn’t even once looked at Amber. During the new interview, it became clear what the reason was. Johnny Depp avoided eye contact with Amber Heard throughout the trial, as he promised in 2016 that he would never see Amber Heard’s eyes again. It was revealed during the interrogation of Heard by Depp’s attorney, Camilla Vasquez. She asked the actor, “He promised you that he would never see his eyes again. Is that true?”

Hurd said he didn’t remember anything like that. Then, the audio recording made in a hotel room in San Francisco in 2016 was listened to in the courtroom. On the recording, Heard was heard trying to hug Depp, but when he refused, he said, “Please, I just want to hug you and say goodbye.” To this Depp replied, “I am nothing to you and I will always be nothing to you. You will never see my eyes again.”

Hearings have been held in Fairfax County (Virginia) District Court since April of this year.
