Palin’s relationship with money and her financial organization

Palin admits that her mother is a “big spender” who always had big overdrafts. But her 30-year-old isn’t close to her, she believes this hasn’t affected her relationship with money.

On the other hand, it recognizes a “very free relationship with money”.

“I’m often overdrawn. Especially if unexpected purchases are added to the budget or forgotten checks are debited. I am inattentive and therefore often have surprises. »

As for the financial organization that the young woman has set up with her partner, it’s simple: both have separate bank accounts AND the charges are taken from Palin’s account.

“My girlfriend doesn’t have a job. She occasionally helps with shopping. »

Palin’s spending

Palin’s main expense item is housing: she pays for her apartment in Orléans every month Rent €680of which Charges of €30.

«I also spend money on my son’s travel expenses when he goes to his grandparents (500 euros spread over the year), and on accommodation when I go there with him (300 euros). »

Palin does not want to be assimilated to the term “female expenses”, she prefers to talk about expenses related to maintaining the body, which she estimates at around €100 per month. This includes clothing, care and hair removal products. She has no period-related expenses because she uses washable pads purchased several years ago.

“I don’t need contraceptives because my girlfriend is a trans woman who had an orchiectomy and I don’t have sex with other people. »

Finally, for the 10 gerbils that live under the same roof as her family, Palin spends a considerable sum of money.

“The gerbils cost us a lot initially (nearly €1,000) because we invested in quality, tailor-made habitats in line with our desire to offer them the best possible living space. They are currently found in 4 different habitats and still cost us 150 euros a month for food, accessories and waste in large quantities. »

Palin’s hobbies

Palin’s hobbies are primarily those of his son, and they cost him a significant amount of money every month: Around €300 per month. This includes figure skating lessons (€300 per year, paid in 3 instalments), sea sailing courses (€300 per year paid in 2 instalments) and a minimum of two weeks of summer camp.

Palin’s savings and future plans
