Go skip, it’s back to school, it’s also the perfect time to find a new excuse to make cakes. And by cakes, I mean cookies, because it’s all the same, it’s sweet, you get the idea. So, who among us wants to fill their stomach with soft cookies that melt and are crunchy at the same time?
The easy recipe for soft biscuits
To make this recipe you will need:
- 150 g of butter (I didn’t say it was light, huh)
- 180 g of chocolate
- 210 g of flour
- 75 g of granulated sugar
- 50 g brown/red sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- An egg
- A pinch of salt (unless you have good strength and have not used salted butter)
Yep, start with preheat the oven to 180°C. Then in a salad bowl, mix the soft butter and the two sugarspatouillent, so that it gives a small homogeneous paste. Add the eggmix again and Gradually add the flour, baking powder and salt (optional). If you have some chocolate chips, add them, if you have a candy bar, break it enough to form chips. Personally I roughly cut a tablet with a knife, each for its part.
Once it is well blended and you have obtained a nice ball-shaped batter, cut a sheet of parchment paper to cover a large baking sheet. Form small balls with the dough and place each one on the baking sheet (they should be about the size of a walnut). Don’t forget to space them out eh, because once in the oven they will spread like pancakes.
Go, jump, let’s go in the oven for 10 minutes ! And if you want to replace the chocolate chips with something else, like nuts, almonds or something else: do it! I’m not your mother eh, do what you want.
