Hello to all fashionistas! Your fashion editor is in touch. There are so many trends and brands in my world that I decided to keep an online diary where I would jot down the most important things in the industry. And although such diaries are often called personal, mine is open to all readers – so that you are aware of the most interesting.

I must say right away that the main informative event of these five days was the couture fashion week in Paris. During this time, we saw the surreal Schiaparelli show, the elegant Balenciaga show, and the Chanel mothballs collection (something that hasn’t changed in this world, at least). I was also very pleased with the number of Russian models on the podium. For example, the Jean Paul Gaultier fashion show was opened by the incomparable Natalia Vodyanova, while Alesya Kafelnikova shone most on Alexis Mabille and Zuhair Murad. We admired Irina Shayk after the Schiaparelli and Alaïa performances, and Renata Litvinova after Balenciaga.

There have been some really interesting events this week, so I suggest you join me on a little digital journey through the latest news in the fashion world and learn a little more about our domestic brands, advertising campaigns and collections. Shall we begin?

If you’ve been reading my diary for over a week, you’ll probably remember that I mentioned the Jacquemus and Gucci branded beaches. Now this list has been replenished with Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and Dolce & Gabbana. We have such a power in Russia. Recently, a bright summer center of the Guess brand is located on the territory of the Luzhniki outdoor pool. It has everything you need for a relaxed beach holiday in the city – towels, life buoys and comfortable Guess poufs. In the new season, the brand has expanded its presence in the field of sports – volleyball nets and balls have received an upgrade. I don’t know about you, but I’m planning to spend my weekend there.

It seems that Barbiecore’s aesthetic has finally and irrevocably taken over the entire field of knowledge. Margot Robbie occasionally goes out in pink looks, designers present their sensational visions of a trend on the catwalk, and street style heroes seem to be holding real bow battles on social networks. If you want to feel yourself in the world of Barbie, immediately visit the website of the Russian brand Mario Berlucci and choose the perfect shoe. My favourites: soft pink slippers and bright red sandals with curved heels.

Quiet luxury is the main trend of this season. How to pair? Don’t chase labels and monograms, trust the quality and cut. You can find pieces that fit this description perfectly in the new summer collection of the Russian premium brand TEVI. The founder of the brand, Elena Panyushkina, always focuses on timeless styles and quality fabrics – every model of the brand will become an indispensable item. your wardrobe for many years. A suit with a reinforced shoulder line without milk lapels is on my wish list from the new version. Ideal for adding a touch of masculinity to the image.

The new YANINA couture collection is a fairy tale and a true story where beauty always wins. Yulia Yanina’s protagonist this time is Thumbelina, who goes to conquer the world by discovering new facets. Each image in the collection, like a unique flower, combines a magnificent flight of fantasy and the triumph of beauty in incredible architectural compositions.

Meanwhile, the main idea of the collection is built around the diversity of colors as an endless fascinating motif and inspiration for the artist. The traditional black and white gamut, always masterfully directed by Yulia Yanina, has been elegantly diluted this season with a bright palette of rich red, turquoise, green, pure azure and noble graphite tones.

Denim has not lost its position for several years, and the experiments of designers become more and more amazing every time. For example, last year Mathieu Blazy designed leather jeans for Bottega Veneta, and this season Pierpaolo Piccioli presented beadwork jeans at the couture fashion show. Of course it’s good to try. But I advise everyone to choose a more familiar option first. Ideal fashion models were found in the collection of the Russian brand Tatika. There are both basic options and models with button elements. You can also find cool jeans and denim shirts on the brand’s website.
