Come on, it’s snack time and we’re not here to joke. This time, after the homemade flan or banana bread recipe, I’m back with the recipe finger in the nose cherry clafouti. Well yes.
How to make a cherry clafoutis?
To make this recipe, you don’t have to be Cyril Lignac. You will simply need:
- 500 g of cherries (or apricots, raspberries or any other fruit that makes you squirm)
- 250 ml of milk (cow or vegetable, each for its own)
- 170 g of flour
- 110 g of ground almonds
- 30 g of melted butter
- 90 g of sugar
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 3 eggs
All right, do you have everything? Then preheat the oven to 220°C. Next, melt the butter in a small saucepan. In a bowl mix the eggs and sugar and add the butter. It’s the turn of the milk, then the flour, to be incorporated delicately to avoid lumps. Hop, let’s add the almond powder and the fruit. The annoying thing about cherries is the stones, but there are small tools whose only job is to turn them.
Once everything is mixed, pour the mixture into a buttered mold with high edges, but not too big. Finally, pour the sachet of vanilla sugar and add a few small pieces of butter on top, when cooked it will give a nice golden color.
Switch to hops, in the oven for 30 min, always at 220°C!
