Titanic director James Cameron admitted he was shocked by the similarity in the crashes of the ship that sank after hitting an iceberg in 1912 and the similarity in the tragedy of the Titanic submarine.

“I was stunned by the similarity of the Titanic disaster, where the captain was repeatedly warned that there was an iceberg ahead and yet he rushed to the ice field at full speed, resulting in the deaths of many people. The warnings were not heeded in the exact same place,” he said.
He also added that he was a friend of one of the deceased passengers, Paul-Henri Nargeole. “It’s almost impossible for me to accept that he tragically died this way,” he told reporters.

Recall that the submerged “Titan” of the American company OceanGate was lost in the Atlantic Ocean on June 18, on the way to the wreckage of the Titanic. The main thing about the event is gathered here!
