Blogger Lerchek and his wife Artem Chekalin gave an interview for the first time after the scandal.

“When we were sued and the accounts were arrested, we wanted to pay immediately, but there was no way to do that. Artem, we borrowed money from our friend on the Rutube show Empathy Manuchi and he paid for our place. “Now we are still waiting for the amount of fines and penalties we will have to pay. Now we are waiting for the final payment,” added Lerchek.

Artem Chekalin also spoke about income in an interview. “If we take the last three years of cosmetics, there is a turnover of less than three billion. Before this whole story, we wanted to sell some of it, we were estimated at four billion rubles. “We were supposed to have an agreement like May,” he said. “Our main product is a fitness marathon. Here, according to the calculations of the Federal Tax Service, it is probably plus or minus one billion, ”says Artem.

Lerchek talked about his experiences. “Do I regret that this happened? Yes, I’m so sorry, I won’t hide it. It’s like a bolt out of the blue,” she says. When the host asked her why she was crying, the blogger replied, “It’s hard, I’m tired.” By the way, they are no longer allowed to use cell phones by court order.

“I believe we will overcome any problem. The important thing is that we are with our family. These are all temporary difficulties. Now the main thing is to pay and continue not to make such mistakes, ”continued Lerchek.

The stars also admitted that their children were unaware of what happened. “They think it’s a joke,” says Lerchek. “We said it was a joke,” added Artem, but his parents are “in shock.”

In early March, a criminal case was opened against the Chekalins for particularly large-scale tax evasion and money laundering. After counting all the companies, the bloggers were arrested. At the end of May, it was learned that Lerchek paid all his debts to the tax authorities. They are now prohibited from using cell phones by court order.
