The quick and easy recipe for homemade granola

Why blindly pay a price for an industrial stuff filled with sugar, when it literally takes 5 minutes to make yourself? Come on, discover MY homemade granola recipe, that will make everyone agree.

In the kitchen, I often work conjecture. Measurements get me drunk, I don’t have a scale, I have a measuring cup whose graduations are erased, in short, a true professional, you will agree.

And yet, even with all this, I manage to do it a homemade granola that will make you want to boycott Kellogg’s Extra in hell, just that. Are you ready ?

PS: in truth I have nothing against industrial granola, everyone does what they want eh

The ultra simple recipe for homemade granola

To make this recipe, which is simpler than the yogurt cake, you will need:

  • Rolled oats (just enough to fill two tall glasses, but I’d imagine the weight equivalent is closer to 200g)
  • Almonds (a good handful)
  • hazelnuts (even a handful)
  • Peanut, almond or hazelnut puree, to taste. You can find it everywhere, but especially in organic shops.
  • Liquid honey (or agave syrup is fine too)
  • Chocolate chips (or raisins, goji berries if you like them more)
  • The little extra: pumpkin seeds, a small handful, but it’s not mandatory, it’s according to your taste

Now let’s get ready! Take a bowl and add your oatmeal. Chop your almonds and hazelnuts a little by hand, or if you’re lazy like me, you can also put them in a blender for a few seconds. Not long now eh, it doesn’t even have to turn into dustonly in large chunks.

Combine everything with the flakesmix a little with a spatula, add the chocolate chips (or raisins, pumpkin seeds, etc.) mix again, add 3 tablespoons of peanut puree, always mix, and add a spoonful or two of honey, according to your taste. Personally I don’t like it when it’s too sweet, so I take it a little on the fly, and taste it to see if it suits me.

Mix everything again as you can, and Spread it all out on a tray, previously covered with parchment paper. You have to try to roll it all out in the shape of a rectangle, to a thickness of about one centimeter.

And jump, in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 180°C. Once well cooled, you can break it all apart, store it in an airtight box and keep it for a month, wife.

If you don’t know what to do with all that delicious granola you’ve made, know that it’s delicious in a bowl of milk, in yogurt or just like that, as a snack.

Also, be careful: if you bring it back to the office in a little box for your snack, don’t show it to your colleagues: they risk eating it all, mercilessly.

So what’s the answer to that, Kellogg’s?
