Cannes Directors’ Fortnight has announced the selections for its 55th edition, which will take place from 17 to 26 May.
The once-sneaky parallel section of Cannes – launched in 1969 and governed since then by France’s Guild of Directors (Société des Réalisateurs de Films) – will present 20 feature films and 10 shorts this year. Scroll down for the full list.
The group is the first line-up of the new deputy general Julien Rejl, who was announced last July to succeed predecessor Paolo Moretti.
This edition is also the first appearance of the section under the new French name Quinzaine des Cinéostes. The name change from Quinzaine des Réalisateurs was announced in July to make the French-language banner title more gender-specific.
