The funds raised will go to transgender people in need. A part will also be reserved trans men and women who cannot afford the medical expenses associated with their transition.

“We think this is a really important moment to make this collection, at a time when it’s difficult for us to exist in the public space,” said Mercury Stradust. In fact, this fundraising takes place in a context where for several months, many restrictive laws for the rights of transgender people are enacted in the United States.

It’s essential that we continue to build love for community, whether it’s contributing to funds like these or simply supporting trans people in our communities. »said Mercury Stardust.
