30-year-old Riverdale star Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart broke up nearly three years ago, but fans are still at a loss as they are considered one of the most beautiful and powerful couples. On the Call Her Daddy podcast, Sprouse detailed who ended the relationship and how he’s now communicating with Lily.
“We didn’t care much when we broke up,” the actress began. Rumors of cheating on her partner Cole also commented: “I probably should have said something right away about the breakup so I didn’t have so many gossip around me that was affecting my mental health.”
“I won’t go into details but our breakup was mutual. Many couples broke up during the Covid-19 period because they were always together. If I had loved myself a little more, I would have left Lily much sooner. In this situation, I should have been a little more selfish,” Sprouse openly shared.
Stating that it was difficult to work together after leaving, the actress said, “It’s hard to let go of our feelings completely, but we hurt each other a lot. Now we are good friends and we work well together.”
Recall that Cole and Lily met on the set of Riverdale magazine, after which the couple began a tumultuous love affair that lasted several years.
