Vladimir Presnyakov defended Alla Pugacheva, who left Russia for Israel against the background of the Russian military special operation in Ukraine. After the separation of Pugacheva and her husband Maxim Galkin, many began to suspect that they had emigrated from Russia and criticized them, calling them traitors. Presnyakov supported his ex-mother-in-law in this situation (the artist was previously married to Kristina Orbakaite, the daughter of Alla Pugacheva).

Komsomolskaya said in an interview with Pravda.

Earlier, Maxim Galkin was harshly criticized by Margarita Simonyan, who said that she had no right to criticize the Russian government, citing her personal life as an argument that the artist allegedly lied.

Maksim Galkin faced criticism after speaking out against Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine and condemning the Russian government’s actions. After that, he was “canceled” in Russia: the actor was left without a concert, ads with his participation were banned on federal channels, and a replacement was found on Channel One. Galkin found a new job in Israel – previously announced a concert tour of Israeli cities and today contacted fans on Instagram* and said that all tickets for their concerts are already sold out.
