The extended agreement, which has been in place for several years, will include SPE’s largest films and TV shows in the region and Sony Pictures Television (SPT) will contribute content to Viaplay’s international original content pipeline.

Viaplay is targeting around 12 million subscribers by the end of 2025, half of them in Scandinavia, after expanding into large areas such as the US and UK.
