At the center of the story are two young couples with relationship problems. Georgy (Andrey Burkovsky) is in love with many, not knowing how to explain to his new girlfriend Alice (Yana Gladkikh) that she will never be his only lover. The marriage of another couple – chef Sergei (Yuri Chursin) and accountant Elena (Alexandra Ursulyak) – is bursting at the seams. After the pandemic, his business collapsed, he fell into a deep depression and – literally – wants nothing. And it seems that when all the protagonists’ problems are solved, real emotions intervene and destroy the perfect plan.
By the way, this is the first drama that explores the phenomenon of free relations in Russia – a topic that leaves no one indifferent. What is it: betrayal or the most honest relationship? The ability to love a few or an attempt to avoid true intimacy?
The director of the series Yana Gladkikh (she also played one of the main roles) – a graduate of the Moscow Art Theater School, actress and author of the short film “Anya opposite”, received the main prize. short film program of the first national festival “Movement” and the feature film “Beauty in blow” with Yulia Alexandrova, Andrey Burkovsky and Georgy Kalinin. He says about his first drama: “I wonder what’s going on in the family institution today. People are looking for new forms of alliances and finding them interestingly. To me, the worst thing is to live someone else’s life, to follow the path that someone took before you without thinking about exactly what you need. This is a series for those who’ve been in a relationship before.” And her on-set colleague Alexandra Ursulyak adds: “This is a series about adults – so “adult” they try to feel like kids again. And it’s full of consequences.”
