Ticket to slide! Paul McCartney’s ex-wife Heather Mills has been named the fastest disabled skier of all time after clocking a staggering 102mph in France.

Heather Mills, ex-wife of Sir Paul McCartney, has been officially recognized as the world’s fastest disabled skier.

Mills, 55, who lost a leg in an accident in 1993, hit a breathtaking speed of 164.95km/h in Vars, south-east France, in 2015.

The successful effort of the former model was finally recognized in the Guinness Book of Records.

Mills can now claim two more record crowns, two more announcements for her efforts in skeleton and ski jumping.

Mills lost her left leg following a traffic accident involving a police motorcycle in Kensington, London in 1993. Her left leg was amputated below the knee and she has worn a prosthesis ever since.

Mills began her competitive skiing career in 2010 at the age of 42, two years after her divorce from legendary Beatle Sir Paul McCartney.

Despite her advanced age, she won 4 gold medals in super giant slalom and downhill at the 2012 World Ski Championships in Aspen.

Skiing is the fastest non-motorized sport, and pros can accelerate faster than most cars.

In her effort, Mills accelerated from a standing start to more than 60 mph in less than three seconds.

Of her record-breaking achievement, Mills said, “I’m excited to finally get into the book!”

“I just hope it gives some inspiration to those who have suffered similar injuries to mine and that they can use it as inspiration to move on and achieve their own dreams and goals, whatever.” You can be.’

Amputee Mills uses a specially designed prosthetic leg to withstand the stresses of the ski slope, which she developed with the London Prosthetic Centre.

Descending a 48-degree mountainside at such a blistering pace, it was essential for Mills to have a prosthetic to withstand the pressure.

London Prosthetic Center director Abdo Haidar, who worked with Mills to build the heavy-duty prosthesis, praised Mills. “I’ve been an orthotist for years and made limbs for cycling and riding for Paralympic running competitions, but nothing compares to skiing. It is the most difficult sport for an amputee.”

Mills said: “I’m so happy, ecstatic is an understatement!!! I love challenging people’s perceptions of disability and inspiring those who doubt their abilities, disabled or not, to get off the couch climb and do something that gives them the will to live this roller coaster of life.

“We must not allow life to disappear before it is over. We only have a finite number of seconds, let’s live it.”
