“Saturday Night Live” parodies the claims of George Santos and his former fantastic drag artist

coming from a vacation, Saturday night live went with troubled congressman George Santos’ fantastic past claims for his cold opening tonight, while also faking his alleged past as a drag performer.

The sketch aired just hours after the real Santos responded to reports that he was a drag performer while living in Brazil. Reporters met him at La Guardia Airport in New York and he told them: “I was not a drag queen in Brazil. I was young and having fun at a festival.”

That undeniable rejection was about the subject of the SNL Opener set as part of Fox NFL Sunday with Santos, played by Bowen Yang, as one of the correspondents.

When the Fox NFL Sunday Hosts went to Santos and reported from the field, he told them, “I’m kind of a real Bo Jackson, and I’m proud to be the first African-American quarterback to ever a football dive..”

After making many more claims about his soccer greatness, Santos is questioned about it. One of the hosts wondered if he even played football.

“Well, I didn’t drag in Brazil,” he replied. “I didn’t drag in Brazil under the name Guitar Ravache! Whoever did it was very, very good at it and won many competitions.

Friday political reported that Santos, despite initial denials of being a “drag queen”, apparently once wrote that he had appeared in drag shows on a Wikipedia page, along with claims that he had appeared on the show Hannah Montana.

Then the hosts left. But moments later, when Fox NFL Sunday host Howie Long (Mikey Day) tried to go to another field correspondent, Kitara Ravache intervened.

When the hosts disagreed, Santos told them, “I’m not George. I’m Kitara Ravache!”

Now allow me to give you my true stats: death drops, 26. duck run, 19. wigs cut, infinite. … And I also got the award for the tight crease.”

The real Santos has been in the spotlight since reports surfaced that he lied about important details on his resume. Santos has admitted falsehoods about his background but has refused to step down despite calls for his resignation from some New York Republicans.

Santo’s past, real or imagined, suggests a longing for the spotlight, something he was undoubtedly the first to do tonight SNL.
