Keith Lott, 47, of Swedesboro, New Jersey, died on May 16 after suffering a heart attack during sex with his wife, according to the New York Post. Emergency paramedics restarted his heart several times while transporting him to the hospital.
At the hospital, doctors connected Lott to a ventilator in intensive care. Medical staff fought for three days to save his life, but he did not survive.
Organ Donation Dispute
Following his death, Lott's family faced a lengthy dispute with NJ Sharing Network. The organization attempted to harvest his organs for transplant procedures.
