Jesy Nelson Reportedly Dating Lydia Bright's Ex Ben Davies

Jesy Nelson is reportedly dating Ben Davies, Lydia Bright's ex, months after splitting from Zion Foster, father of her twin daughters.

Jesy Nelson Reportedly Dating Lydia Bright's Ex Ben Davies

Jesy Nelson is reportedly dating Ben Davies, a landscape gardener from Essex who previously dated The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) star Lydia Bright. The former Little Mix singer, 35, shared a glimpse of the mystery man on her Instagram Stories this weekend as the pair enjoyed drinks at a rooftop garden, following her split from her twin babies' father, musician Zion Foster.

The tattooed arm of a man was visible in the far left-hand side of the image Nelson posted. Davies and Nelson are said to have started following each other on Instagram in recent weeks before she shared the teasing snap on Sunday.

Davies, who has tattoos, dated Bright for a year in 2024. During their relationship, Bright shared a string of loved-up photos with him.

Bright and Davies' romance was first confirmed by the Daily Mail after the couple attended a gig by her ex-boyfriend James Argent together in April 2024. By January 2025, the TOWIE star had confirmed she was single again after splitting from the father-of-one.

Split from Zion Foster

Nelson separated from Foster, 27, earlier this year, shortly after their twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, were diagnosed with the rare genetic condition Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1. She had also teased a new man back in April, though it is not known whether that was Davies. Last month, Foster hit back at accusations that he had abandoned his daughters following their diagnosis.

Story and Ocean were found to have the genetic disorder, which causes progressive muscle weakness, in January 2026. The weeks before and after the diagnosis were documented in the new Amazon Prime series "Jesy Nelson: Life Changing."

In one episode, Foster is seen struggling to come to terms with the diagnosis. "I'm not equipped to deal with this. I'm out of my depth; emotionally, physically and mentally," he said. "At the moment I'm surviving. I just need to get help."

Nelson responded: "I can tell he's really struggling. For a 26-year-old to have to now be put in this situation... I feel like I can see his life flashing before his eyes."

The pair announced their split later that month. "It's hard. It's just me and mum now," Nelson said on the show. She added: "I think we're both thinking, 'how the f*** are we going to do this?' And we will because we have to. We don't have a choice. It's really f****** hard."

Foster responds to backlash

After his comments caused backlash, Foster took to his Instagram Stories to clarify his remarks. "When I said I was 'out of my depth,' I wasn't saying I was walking away from my children or abandoning my responsibilities as a father," he wrote. "I was talking about the overwhelming reality of suddenly facing a rare and complex medical diagnosis that I knew nothing about. Being out of my depth meant I was learning. It meant I was trying to understand. It never meant I didn't love my daughters or that I wasn't going to be there for them... Please don't mistake vulnerability for abandonment."

He added: "I love my girls more than words could ever express. They are my world and always will be."

The same day, Foster shared a video of himself recording a new song built around the lyrics "Out of my depth." He also addressed Nelson's revelation that she was the one to end their relationship, after she said on the show, "I decided we would be better off apart." He responded: "Although I respect that, it does not change the fact that I remain committed to my daughters in every way I possibly can. This journey has been heartbreaking for all of us. Nobody prepares you for news like this, and we're all navigating it in our own way."

Nelson on their 'inevitable' split

In the docuseries, Nelson described the couple's split as "inevitable." "It's a very traumatic thing that we've both been through. I think it's quite inevitable for things like this to happen to couples," she said. "I don't think it's a shock that we've broken up. You'll either be a team or it'll tear you apart and unfortunately I feel that's what it's done to me and Zion."

Nelson said there is "no bad feeling" between her and Foster, but that her "main priority" is her daughters. "I just want to be the best mum with the best energy and positivity possible," she said. "The house was not like that when we were together. We're both dealing with this situation completely differently, and together we were clashing."
