Billionaire James Packer sent a congratulatory video message to comedian Andrew Denton at Sunday's Logies awards show from his Mediterranean superyacht.
Packer took time out from his honeymoon to honor Denton, who was inducted into the Logies Hall of Fame during the Sunday evening broadcast.
Speaking from the lounge room of his $200 million luxury vessel, the former Channel Nine chief executive referenced their famous shared history at the annual television industry awards ceremony.
Packer told Denton: "Congratulations on an amazing career. If I was there I would sit on your lap."

The comment recalled a wild moment from the 1999 ceremony when Denton shocked Packer by sitting on his lap and pretending Packer was his ventriloquist's dummy.
During the live 1999 skit, Denton sat on Packer's knee while Packer was chief executive of Channel Nine and handed him a glass of water.
Denton asked Packer: "I'll sit on your lap and I'd like you to drink this glass of water if you could while I talk. Would you mind just drinking that, James?"

Looking directly down the camera lens, Denton clarified: "I'd just like to say all the opinions expressed by me tonight are mine and not those of the Packer family."
Packer's then-fiancee, model Jodhi Meares, was seen laughing alongside the pair as the skit played out on television screens.

Mediterranean Wedding to Kylie Lim
Packer, 58, made the rare television appearance while enjoying a Mediterranean honeymoon with his new wife, 46-year-old Kylie Lim.
The couple tied the knot earlier this month in a secret wedding ceremony in Sardinia, Italy. A spokesperson confirmed the nuptials to news.com.au last week.
Lim made her Instagram page public on Thursday, sharing a photo from their Sardinia nuptials. The socialite wore a strapless gown with floral appliqué, a traditional veil, two tennis necklaces, and a tennis bracelet while posing with Packer and holding her Cavoodle dog, Waffle.
Packer dressed in a blue suit, open-neck white shirt, black sneakers, Ray-Ban sunglasses, and a boutonniere in his jacket lapel.
Lim captioned the photo: "After 13 years…my heart and always will always be each other's home ❤️"
The post received comments from high-profile friends, including former Today show host Karl Stefanovic, who wrote: "Exquisite. The big fella looks sharp." His wife Jasmine Stefanovic added: "Congratulations! Love you two."
The Sardinia nuptials took place a few days after Packer's niece, Francesca Packer, and her husband Robert Bates hosted their own wedding celebrations on the Spanish island of Mallorca.
Following the Mallorca festivities, Packer's superyacht IJE departed Mallorca and was subsequently spotted off the Costa Smeralda region of Sardinia.

Relationship History and Background
The marriage is Lim's first and Packer's third. Packer, an Australian businessman and casino mogul, was previously married twice.
The couple were eager to marry and made plans to host the ceremony during Packer's annual Mediterranean retreat.
Packer and Lim confirmed their engagement in March 2026 after Lim was seen wearing a diamond ring while running errands in Aspen, Colorado.
Speaking from Los Angeles at the time, Packer told news.com.au: "We are very happy to be engaged and looking forward to the future."
The pair were together for almost three years from late 2017 to 2020 before rekindling their romance last year.
