Isla Fisher has revealed the specific behavior that recently put her off being intimate with a man, more than a year after finalizing her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen.
The 50 year old actress shared the crude remark in a video posted to the Overheard Happy Hour TikTok account on Monday.
TikTok is a video sharing platform known for viral trends, where the Overheard brand frequently posts submitted stories and celebrity interviews.
Fisher made the comments while taking part in a promotional interview for her new film Spa Weekend.
The Australian star explained that she had liked someone recently until a bizarre incident with a runaway pet changed her mind entirely.
"His dog ran away and he chased his dog," Fisher said in the social media clip.
"But instead of chasing upright, he ran low with his hands outstretched like a cartoon."
The actress concluded the story with a blunt assessment of how the man's unusual running style affected their romantic prospects.
"By the time he caught the dog, he had lost the p***y," she quipped.
Previous relationship dealbreakers
Fisher has previously discussed her strict dating turnoffs in detail during an appearance on KIIS FM's The Smallzy Show, a popular Australian radio program.
She stated that backpacks and deck shoes were her two biggest dealbreakers, warning that she would immediately leave a date if a potential suitor arrived wearing either item.
She described seeing a man slip his heel out of a deck shoe as the ultimate offense.
"And you know what's really the biggest ick, which I saw someone recently do, and he slid the bottom of his, like he was wearing those deck shoes, which are already quite aspirational and a bit of an ick," the star continued.
"But he slipped the heel off and he was just wearing them like a plimsoll like, he was just wearing them. Like, I could see his heel, repulsive."
A plimsoll is a light canvas sports shoe with a rubber sole, which is considered far less formal than a deck shoe.
Fisher also noted that a terrible running stance is a major issue for her in general.
She suggested that men should take notes on how to run properly from Tom Cruise, the veteran Hollywood action star famous for his trademark intense sprinting scenes in blockbuster film franchises such as Mission: Impossible.
Rebuilding after separation
Fisher and her former husband Sacha Baron Cohen mutually announced the end of their 14 year marriage in April 2024.
The former couple, who share three children together, had their divorce finalized in June last year.
Cohen is an English actor and comedian best known for creating and portraying the satirical character Borat Sagdiyev in controversial mockumentary films. He also gained international fame for his television series Da Ali G Show.
Fisher rose to prominence playing Shannon Reed on the Australian television soap opera Home and Away before starring in Hollywood hit comedy films such as Wedding Crashers and Confessions of a Shopaholic.
Following the split, Fisher admitted she experienced a really challenging time.
In a November interview, she revealed that she spent the past year rebuilding her sense of self post divorce.
The actress said she has spent the two years since the separation focusing on work and herself.
Diverging paths in single life
Despite focusing on her own life, Fisher was seen enjoying an apparent date in London this April.
She stepped out with South African former soccer player Larry Cohen in Notting Hill, where the pair visited Soho House.
Soho House is a prestigious private members club network that maintains a strict privacy policy, making its venues favored destinations for high profile figures.
Her former husband's approach to single life has been in stark contrast to her own.
