Heidi Klum, 53, and her husband Tom Kaulitz, 36, celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary with a romantic getaway to St Barts. The supermodel took to Instagram on Monday to share a slew of snaps from the trip with their dog, Fritz.
Klum posed topless in one photo and shared a video of herself stripping off before heading for a swim in the sea wearing just a thong bikini. In another image, she packed on the PDA with Kaulitz as the couple sunbathed on a towel. Other photos showed her being gifted a huge bouquet of red roses and posing among red balloons. She captioned the post "No caption needed."
The couple married in 2019 and held a star-studded wedding on a yacht in Italy a few months after their legal ceremony. The family has been joined in St Barts by Klum's daughter Leni, 22, and her boyfriend, hockey player Aris Rachevsky, also 22.
Klum on weight and her husband's encouragement
Klum recently told Us Weekly that Kaulitz was the first person to encourage her to gain weight, telling her she would look better with more meat on her bones. She said she was initially surprised, since the fashion industry always pushes women to be skinnier, but agreed when she looked back at old photos that she looks better with more proportion.
Klum said she has zero interest in taking weight-loss drugs, unlike many celebrities in Hollywood. She said she has gained weight over the years and is no longer a size 24 jean, but believes people look better with age when they are not as skinny.
Balancing busy schedules
Klum admitted that the couple's busy schedules can be challenging, since Kaulitz often goes on tour while she films her show in New York for five weeks at a time. She said the pair met during the COVID-19 pandemic and grew close while spending every day together at home in Los Angeles, which made it harder once the world reopened and they had to spend weeks apart.
Klum said she will accompany Kaulitz when his band tours in November. She said she plans to be in the front row as a fangirl, pulling up her T-shirt and throwing her bra. She mentioned recently being in Barcelona with Elle Macpherson, who was touring with her boyfriend, the guitar player for Eric Clapton. Klum said it is beautiful to watch a spouse do what they love, adding that Kaulitz will also come visit her on set.
