Do you suffer from sensitive teeth? If you experience that brief, sharp sensation of sensitivity while sipping a hot cup of tea or a cold glass of water, you probably already have tooth sensitivity, especially if you’ve been a little sloppy in the oral hygiene department.

Strong tooth enamel is essential for oral health because tooth enamel protects the inner layers of teeth from problems such as tooth decay and sensitivity.

MySweetSmile nHA+ Glaze care serum

Formulated with a natural mineral called hydroxyapatite (nHA), which makes up approximately 97 percent of the composition of our tooth enamel, it is clinically proven to repair and remineralize tooth enamel.

The nHA+ Enamel Care Serum is applied to your toothbrush and brushed gently over your teeth for two minutes (after brushing with your regular toothpaste). It helps to fill the dentinal tubules and remineralize damaged enamel areas.

The result? A reduction in tooth sensitivity and improved protection of the inner layers of the tooth.

Buyers also get free UK delivery. Also buy a Teeth Whitening Powder and get 50% off the second serum. Discount applied at checkout.

Unfortunately, tooth enamel naturally wears down over the years and it is not surprising that this is one of the most common complaints of patients in dental clinics, as one in ten people report tooth sensitivity, also known as dentin hypersensitivity.

And while some toothpastes are designed to relieve the pain of sensitive teeth, they are only temporary and must be used continuously to prevent the pain from returning.

However, MySweetSmile has launched an nHA+ Enamel Care Serum (£24.99) to put an end to pesky tooth sensitivity in the short and long term.

When added to a damp toothbrush and brushed on teeth for four minutes, the powder turns into an effective daily whitening treatment that oxidizes stains without damaging tooth enamel or causing sensitivity.

For a brighter smile, the brand also sells PAP teeth whitening strips (£24.99) and a Precision Teeth Whitening Pen (£19.99) that work in minutes.

What causes sensitive teeth?

Tooth sensitivity usually occurs as a result of the gradual exposure of the softer inner parts of the tooth that lie beneath the enamel, known as “dentin”.

Dentin is made up of tiny tubules that lead to nerves that run through the dental pulp.

These tubes are filled with fluid that can be disrupted by sudden temperature changes that occur when eating or drinking cold and hot foods. Extremely sweet or hard foods can also lead to fluid changes.

The movement of the fluid triggers the mechanoreceptors on the nerves in the tooth, causing a short, sharp pain.

Dentin can also be exposed when gums recede or tooth enamel breaks down.
