Actor Gosha Kutsenko refused a stunt double and performed a fight scene on set himself for the film The Last Knight: Kolobok, according to comedian Dmitry Zhuravlev on Fifth Channel.
Zhuravlev said that Kutsenko initially wanted a stunt performer to take his place during a fight scene against his character, the baker Tikhon. The comedian then intentionally teased Kutsenko by asking if he was no longer able to do anything and saying how interesting that was. Zhuravlev shared that Kutsenko accepted the challenge and fought alongside him, despite wearing a heavy costume and armor.
Film Release and Production Details
The film The Last Knight: Kolobok opens in theaters on August 6. In the movie, Kolobok, played by Garik Kharlamov, becomes an involuntary partner to Tikhon, played by Zhuravlev. Kutsenko appears as the Wolf, while Mila Ershova plays Lada.
Anton Maslov directed the picture and is best known for creating the series The Last Knight. Heritage. Kharlamov previously revealed that he did not need to visit the set, explaining that specialists recorded his character's facial expressions in advance and worked from ready-made materials.
